A lovely escape with a comfortable barn room and attentive staff. Dinner options were good, especially enjoying the rib eye steak. Breakfast was hearty, though a bit more clarity on choices would help. A noisy door was slightly disruptive, but overall, a delightful experience.

Cozy barn rooms feature ample space and delightful local decor, perfect for a warm escape. The meals are a highlight, with fresh produce sourced from their own allotment and excellent local ales on tap.
While the barn rooms offer space, I noticed some areas could really use a bit of maintenance, particularly in the bathrooms where some fixtures felt outdated. A few guests mentioned unpacking could be a hassle due to the limited space for luggage. The restaurant, though good, occasionally struggles on busy nights when reservations are a must, leading to some longer waits which might test your patience.

I had a lovely stay where the comfy double room had easy access right onto the car park, which made unloading my bags a breeze. The garden was a great spot to unwind, with plenty of seating and a nice area to stroll around. The only hiccup was that breakfast could take a little longer than expected, but it was still worth the wait! 😊

Peaceful getaway with nice food
Had a chill 3-day break in a quiet little room. The bed was a letdown, tho—those twin beds stuck together don’t do it for me. Breakfast was fantastic, and the vibe was cozy. Just wish the bed situation had been better. Would’ve loved a proper double instead of the patchwork one.
